Abstract

The subject of the research was tight sealing of copper tubes welded by ultrasonic method. The scope of work included leak testing, computer tomography and metallographic examinations. The results of the conducted tests showed a significant impact of technological factors such as copper surface cleanliness, downforce and wear of the welding machine tools on the quality of the joint.
